Sand Vultures are for those of us who can't wait for the season to begin.
Right about now we are cleaning out our motor homes and trailers.
Changing oil, cleaning air filters and making sure that every thing is just right. Then around Halloween it's time. Time to unleash the toys. If it's on two wheels or four. If it's a two stroke or four. If it has one cylinder or eight. They all have one thing in common PADDLES thats right paddles, those sand shoveling tires that power you up the dunes and around the rim of the massive bowls.
You have got to love the sickness of it all.
So if you happen to be in the area you can find our Crew chill'n at wash 20
The Sand Vultures spent an awesome week at Glamis, wash 14 this year for our third Thanksgiving as a crew. We also welcomed the Transient Nation to our Thanksgiving festivities.
Be sure to check out the Transient Nation website coming soon.
In the meantime Vulture Crew will Provide TN with a page here at Vulture Crew.
A really big thank you to
JB Weld
Tim's Sand Rail developed a crack in the shift cover plate on the transmission the first day out. Red Dave came through with the JB Weld and saved the week.
Red Dave also had his issues with the Green Machine. A quick brake tear down and his back on line.
Thanks to every one for a good time and a safe trip.
The Sand Vultures will be at Dumont Dunes with the Transient Nation the weekend after New Years 2010. We will be showing up on the 6th and staying through Sunday the 10th.
Come on by and visit to become part of our crew.
